| Donor
recruitment video for the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) to educate
multi-cultural audiences at the time they signed up to donate marrow. |
|
| |
|
| Objective |
|
- To emphasize the importance of their life-long committment.
- To cleary define the medical procedure of marrow
donation.
- To show them success stories of the type of people
they could help.
|
|
| |
|
| Approach |
|
- Wrote a script that included testimonials of donors
and patients from a variety of ethnic/cultural groups.
- Used graphics to describe marrow and the process
of donating it.
- Used the NMDP theme "You could be the missing
piece" to tie into all the print literature.

|
| |
|
| Outcome |
|
| Recruiters
could use this one video (instead of needing to play an ethnic-specific
video) to educate the general public as they came out to join the Registery
of marrow donors. They appreciated the content and continuity of the video
with the print materials. |
