Coordinated all aspects of The Marrow Messenger-a national newsletter and the largest department budget item ($750,000). Increased readership of The Marrow Messenger (circulation 3 million) by lowering the literacy level and redesigning the graphic look with updated colors and more white space.
Increased corporate web site traffic from 30,000 hits per month to 50,000 hits per month by encouraging newsletter readers to go online for more information.
Updated and managed content for four ethnic specific campaigns-focusing on Hispanic/Latino, Asian & Pacific Islander, African American and American Indian populations. Additionally, reduced monthly printing costs by evaluating and eliminating outdated and inefficient materials.
Integrated new medical information in more than 35 marketing/education materials each year. Additionally, updated web content and video pieces to accommodate the new medical information.
Led the production of three medically specific and ethnically sensitive videos, two of which won national Vision awards for health education.
Designed, wrote and marketed a new line of multicultural education materials--a five piece collection with national distribution.
